ABOUT US

We are Southern Baptist Missionaries of the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention serving in Africa.  We were appointed in 1995 and served eleven years in Brazil.  In October 2006 we transferred to Africa.  After completing language school we moved to Morogoro to work for one year in Tanzania before moving to Kenya to teach music at the Kenya Baptist Theological College outside of Nairobi in March of 2008.

Jeff’s birthday is April 18 and Kathy’s is April 24.  Our wedding anniversary is May 17 and we celebrated 28 years of marriage in 2008.

Our children grew up in Brazil and are now living in the US.  Justin, 24, is married to wife, Holly. They have both recently graduated from Union University in Jackson, TN. Jackie, our daughter 22 years old, should graduate from the same school in May 2009.  She is married to Brian Bullman and they live outside the Jackson area.

Our mothers still live in the States.  Jeff’s mother, Frances Deasy, lives in Franklin, Kentucky and Marie Callahan, Kathy’s mother, lives in Memphis, Tennessee with Kathy's brother.
